The nice thing at California is that there’s mountains everywhere and within minutes you can find yourself in a total different landscape and temperature. So happened after leaving the Joshua Tree Park Region – unpacked my rainjacket against the cold wind up there. Nice mountain lakes, ski resorts – almost like home. Also Twin Peaks is up there, so I reached my first movie location.

This night another wild camp as they would have charged me 45 bucks at the local campground…well, LA is close.

But the quietness of the wilderness combined with this view on the lake was sure better than a crowded campspot.

The next day through dense fog to Kill Bill Church, the gas station where Sarah Connor thinks about the future, although it’s completely rebuilt.

Finally hit the spot where Brad Pitt receives his package in Seven – but who dumped his trailer on the highway I can’t say, still a good picture…
